Having previously read Michal (book 1) and (book 3)Bathsheba, I am going to declare Bathsheba for the best of the three in Jill Eileen Smith's l, known for her goodness and beauty, starts out a likeable character, but once she marries David (who actually had more than three wives) she descends into becoming OBSESSED with her lack of fertility and jealous over the time David /5.

Also, David had a wife named Ahinoam, likely making Abigail his third wife. Abigail is later recorded as the mother of David’s second son, Daniel (1 Chronicles ), also called Chileab in 2 Samuel Though considered a man after God’s own heart, David’s relationships with.

David found out that Nabal, a very wealthy man from Maon, kept sheep and goats in Carmel, and Nabal’s men. Thank God, Nabal’s wise-hearted wife Abigail steps into the fray. She quickly prepares a feast for David and his men, then rides out to meet David with an apology that sets a new standard for courtesy in the Old Testament (1 Sam.

Yet wrapped in the courteous words are some hard truths David needs to hear. Question: "Who was Abigail in the Bible?" Answer: Abigail was one of David’s wives.
